Class notes

5 conceptual terms:
Different times
The reflection resembles the opposite side of the globe which in this case what every country is opposite to NZ
Reflections
Fort lane is in between 2 buildings that consist of stores which is normal to have puddles of water in the site. The reflection, to me it means that anything in the site can be used as a cinematic device
Parallel
The reflection of the mirror and the reflection are two parallel images that would never meet in the middle
Loop/ Never ending
To me, reflections are never ending loop, no end to them like void
Illusion
The illusion of f falling down as the floor reflects the sky which creates this non boundary between both the ground and sky

Script
The script that i got given was from Fiona where i was told to:

The feeling i got from after doing these tasks was that it made me look at the site in a very uneasy way as the site and the sky was swayying from side to side when i had to spin around a few times, i also wasn’t able to spin around 20 times as it was already too much for me. The walking along with my eyes close i felt as if i was experiencing from a blind person POV, which was weird for me. However sitting down on a chair made me feel at ease as if it was a step back from reality and also because it was after spinning around.
Site visit notes:

Reflection doesn’t have to be a mirror, it can also be glass as glasses are semi-reflective that separates two sites. Below are the glasses that I found in the site
After drawing a few more designs i came to a conclusion that I think my project will be located the just outside of the entrance of the imperial building from the fort lane
