Hearing water gives off a relaxation feeling
During our first visit to the Winter Garden I quite like how the layout was symmetrical making it eye catchy and organized. For my proposal I am thinking of refurbishing the pond that is located in the center of the site between the two glasshouses, in the previous floor plan of the Wintergardens there is already a small fountain in the pond but it wasn’t that noticeable. Therefore, for my proposal I want to rebuild the fountain to a bigger and improved water fountain creating a resting space of the outside of the two glasshouses, for people to appreciate nature and the environment around them.
The Winter Garden is the perfect place to unwind from reality, as you’re surrounded by mother nature and other living things, the water fountain is a nice installation to the Wintergardens. The Wintergardens is an ideal spot to spend the afternoon relaxing while enjoying the nice weather and the unique water fountain that is located in the center of the site.
I am to create a resting place for my proposal right outside of the two glasshouses of the Auckland Domain Wintergardens.
