Before doing my actual model i decided to build it in digital first to see what i may add or may exclude in there to see what I prefer and what it may look like once i build it. As you can see above i just built a quick 3D model of my plan inside the gallery to give me an insight of my model. I chose to build my threshold as some sort of building with so many floors as i explained from my last project i tend to dream about me falling from such a high height, so in order to represent this i decided might as well build this miniature building with floors that fits inside the gallery space with no roof and the walls will be all glass. And since i am building a threshold that is to be placed inside the gallery this could represent my thoughts and dreams as it is inside.
Above shows my working progress of my model that i will be putting in my gallery model. For my model i was considerate of the actual in person situation, such as how high it is, the spacing between the floors and how wide the floor is. The measurements is all based on the general reality measurements such as the lowest height of a floor is not as low as the actual door measurements which is 2.05m high. Another reason to why the floors are randomly placed was because to represent my train of thoughts when i am about to sleep it’s all over the place and I sometimes can’t sleep due to myself thinking more before i sleep
Since it was going to be a miniature building inside of a gallery i then added stairs and a transparent wall to represent glass for fragility.
